Service
I have purchased numerous cars from Dick Ide over the years and have always been very happy with the service I get on the sale of cars. Now I have a mechanical problem with a car that I purchased a year and a half ago along with a $1500.00 service agreement. When I spoke with the service department and explained the problem they said that it appeared that the service may take longer than a day. That would not be a problem as long as I can get a loaner car from Dick Ide. I dont care if it takes a month to fix my car as long as I have a loaner. When I spoke with Mark MCCaffrey, he said that he didnt have a loaner for me but that I could get a "good rate" from Enterprise for a loaner. He then said that he looked up my service record and I have never been in before for service. I explained to him that the one time that I called for an oil change they said it would be two weeks. Its easier for me to drive two minutes from my house to Jiffy Lube for an oil change than to wait 2 weeks for the same service. Mark is looking into my service warranty now. I can tell you that if I do not get a loaner car for no charge to me I will never buy another car from Dick Ide again. I have referred friends and family to Dick Ide in the past to purchse cars but that will stop if I dont get service from your dealership. Carmen Indiano has always helped me and my family with purchasing safe, reliable vehicles from your dealership and I truly appreciate him for that.
